Only those who have turned 65 receive it, so more than 300,000 younger pensioners are left out.<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What changes<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The allowance becomes <strong>\u20ac400 a year<\/strong> (up from \u20ac250).<\/li><li>The condition is age: <strong>65 and over<\/strong>.<\/li><li>In practice this works out at about \u20ac1.09 a day.<\/li><\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who is left out<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those who have retired but have not yet turned 65. According to the United Network of Pensioners (ENDISY), that is more than 300,000 people.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What pensioners are asking for<\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The return of the 13th and 14th pension payments.<\/li><li>The return of EKAS (the pensioners' solidarity allowance).<\/li><li>Abolition of the Pensioners' Solidarity Contribution.<\/li><li>Reduction of the EOPYY healthcare deduction from 6% to 4%.<\/li><\/ul>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Survivor's pensions<\/h2>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The demand is for the survivor's pension to reach <strong>70% of the deceased's pension for everyone<\/strong>, without exceptions: for existing beneficiaries, for supplementary pensions and for OGA.
