At syntaxi24.gr we handle pension cases, which means documents containing your personal details. Here we explain in plain terms what data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what your rights are, under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Greek Law 4624/2019.

2. What data we collect
- Contact details: full name, phone, email and whatever you write in your message.
- Appointment details: the day and time you choose for the phone appointment.
- Documents you send us: copy of your ID card, insurance stamp records and insurance history, bank account details, and any other document relating to your case (e.g. decisions, certificates).
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and – only if you agree – visit statistics through cookies (see Cookie Policy).
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To reply to your request and arrange the phone appointment – steps prior to entering into a contract, at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To review and handle your pension case – performance of our agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To comply with tax and other legal obligations, e.g. issuing invoices (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
- For visit statistics and measuring the performance of our ads – only with your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
4. Sensitive data
Some cases (e.g. disability pension) require documents containing health data. We process them only if you send them to us yourself, with your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a) GDPR) and solely to handle your case. Please do not send documents unrelated to the case.
5. Who has access
Your data is seen only by the people handling your case. We do not sell it or pass it to third parties for advertising purposes. We disclose it only:
- to public bodies (e.g. e-EFKA, KEAO, gov.gr), when required for your case and on the basis of the authorisation you give us,
- to providers that support us technically: website hosting (Hostinger), email (Google – Gmail) and, if you choose it yourself, communication via Viber,
- to an accountant or legal adviser, where necessary, and to authorities, when required by law.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Some of the above providers may also process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer takes place with the safeguards provided by the GDPR (adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).
7. How long we keep it
- Requests and documents that did not lead to an engagement: up to 6 months from the last contact, after which they are deleted.
- Client case file: for as long as the case lasts and up to 5 years after its completion, to support any future claims.
- Tax documents: for as long as tax law requires.
You may request earlier deletion, provided there is no legal obligation to retain the data.
8. Security
The website runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The files you upload through the form are sent to us by email and do not remain stored on the website after sending. Only authorised persons have access to the mailbox. No system is completely secure; if you prefer another way of delivering your documents, please contact us.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Send your request to info@syntaxi24.gr and we will reply within one month. If you believe your data is not properly protected, you may contact the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
10. Advertising
No third-party ads are shown on syntaxi24.gr. Our business may advertise on other platforms (e.g. Google); the performance of those ads is measured only with your consent to the relevant cookies.
11. Minors
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data on minors, unless it concerns a case (e.g. a survivor’s pension with a child beneficiary) and is provided by the parent or legal representative.
12. Changes
This policy may be updated. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update.
