Those who have retired but have not yet turned 65. According to the United Network of Pensioners (ENDISY), that is more than 300,000 people.
What pensioners are asking for
- The return of the 13th and 14th pension payments.
- The return of EKAS (the pensioners' solidarity allowance).
- Abolition of the Pensioners' Solidarity Contribution.
- Reduction of the EOPYY healthcare deduction from 6% to 4%.
Survivor's pensions
The demand is for the survivor's pension to reach 70% of the deceased's pension for everyone, without exceptions: for existing beneficiaries, for supplementary pensions and for OGA. This is a demand by pensioners, not something already in force.
